The relevance to People Management: the outside world throws all sorts of challenges at us, and it is important to plan for the people in a business to manage the situation, whether it be sharing knowledge or preparing emergency routines

Whilst people are the critical part of a business, they need the infrastructure to work with. In this session Andrew Wolffsohn will help us discover the critical skills, information and technology that we need to take care of in order to keep things running smoothly and be resistant to failure. Where disaster recovery is the procedure that gets you back on your feet, business continuity is the ongoing nurturing and improvement to prevent you from stumbling.

Andrew Wolffsohn is IT Director at BC Technologies, a company which provides consultancy and support for systems in both small and large businesses. Their approach is to consider both the people and the technology as the whole system to keep in top condition.
